Advantage Behavioral Health Systems, a behavioral healthcare system serving ten counties (Walton, Barrow, Jackson, Greene, Morgan, Madison, Clarke, Oconee, Elbert, & Oglethorpe) around the Athens-Clarke County area of Northeast Georgia is accepting applications for full-time and part-time RN positions.
Oversees the provision of effective, efficient and safe nursing care in the medical department
Oversees nursing staff in planning and implementing the delivery of patient care.
Overses daily administrative operations of the medical unit.
Identifies needs of and triages patients.
Administers medications to patients as ordered by physician. Monitors patient medicine and self administration practices. Maintains supply of medications.
Establishes and monitors nursing plan for patients who have chronic, non-acute health problems.
Communicates with other medical and departmental personnel to coordinate efforts, resolve operational problems and improve quality of patient care.
Coordinates and presents in-service educational programs for the medical department and the agency.
Minimum Training & Experience: A current Georgia license to practice as a registered professional nurse.
Agency Specific Qualifications and/or Preferred Qualifications: (1) Experience with electronic medical records (2) Experience in mental health, substance abuse or developmental disability.
