We empower our Stakeholders to deliver the highest standard of care, which we call the Mother Standard®.The Infusion Nurse Manager is a Registered Nurse who is empowered to direct the delivery of personalized, comprehensive outpatient oncology care to patients. They are responsible to provide leadership to licensed and unlicensed staff through delegation of duties and coordination with other disciplines, as well as provide for required education and training. It is their responsibility to provide guidance and direct interaction with patients, their caregivers and their families as it pertains to their experiences in dealing with Infusion staff members. Manages and oversees the coordination of educational activities encompassing Clinical / Nonâ"clinical service activities.
Works closely with Nursing Management to identify educational needs and develop quality educational programs and tools for clinical staff. Develops the education dep! artment and creates a professional learning environment within the organization.Graduate of an accredited program of nursingâ"Bachelor of Science degree in nursing is recommended Three years previous management experienceâ"healthcare preferredActive Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Georgia Current CPR certification Oncology Nursing Society's (ONS) Chemotherapy Certified preferredMore than five years of clinical experience in acute care or oncologyExperience with budgeting and staffing projectionsA certain degree of creativity and latitude is requiredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office productsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAble to interact with a wide variety of individuals and handle several complex situations simultaneouslyDemonstrates the willingness and ability to research learn and obtain knowledge for the performance of the position.
