The selected candidate will:

• Be responsible for participating in resident education and other programs.
• Be a self-starter, independent, flexible and team-oriented.
• Be responsible for developing and promoting nutrition programs to support residents, physicians, staff and patients at the hospital.
• Have experience in the nutrition care process, electronic Health Records and will provide excellent clinical n! utrition care .
• Have good time management skills and ! able to work well with the physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff.
• Have strong time management and customer service skills, be team oriented, work well autonomously and be willing to work toward a specialty nutrition certification.
• Licensed in GA required before starting in this role.

Position Summary:
Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basi! c principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree

Basic Functional Experience - 1 years work experience in health care including
hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term
care, retirement homes, or clinics, m eets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian.

Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
