We are seeking an experienced Nursing Director of Long Term Care. Must have Current Georgia Licensure as a Registered Nurse, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Masterâs Degree in Nursing or rela! ted field.
Must have minimum three (3) years prior pr! oven Clinical and Managerial experience in a Long Term Care Facility. Knowledge of standards and regulations of relevant leasing agencies, and experience in the operations of a long term care facility.
You will assumes the responsibility for the day to day nursing practice and assists in the achievement of departmental goal and objectives. Director provides guidance to staff in the care of residents while maintaining guidelines/standards and regulations set by the State, federal and TJC agencies. Develops resident care programs, policies and standards. Participates in developing Nursing mission statement, strategic and operational planning for the facility and corporate nursing division. Participates with administrative, medical staff and clinical managers in problem solving/decision making activities of Nursing Department. Assures that all standards for nursing care/practice are consistent with current safety and legal requirements as established by the facility/d! epartment and by state, federal; and voluntary regulatory agencies. Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates the budgetary process for nursing department that facilitates appropriate effective allocation of human and material resources. Collaborates with Nurse Managers and supports the Director of Fiscal Management in revenue enhancement/maximization efforts.
