Description: Athens Regional Health System is employing Registered Nurse - Relief right now, this job will be placed in Georgia. A Registered Professional Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care through the application of the nursing process, which includes, assessment, planning implementing and evaluating! care rendered. Care provider will address physical, psychosocial, rehabilitative, and discharge needs of the patient and his/her family. The Registered Nurse guides and supervises assigned nursing personnel, collaborates with other health care professionals, coordinates ancillary staff, functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the Hospital and within the legal framework of the State. Demonstrates professional growth and accountability. Provides direct patient care primarily for patients age 12 and up. (46848)

Hours:
RELIEF 7a - 7p, 7p-7a, 7 days/week as needed 0 Hours

Skills:
1. Demonstrated leadership ability and interest in developing management skills. / 2. Ability to work with and direct others in the care of critically ill patients within a stressful environment by setting priorities making decisions and delivery of appropriate care. / 3. Thorough knowledge of unit policies, procedures and standards of ca! re. / 4. Thorough knowledge of procedures performed on the nur! sing unit with ability to assist other staff members and physicians. / 5. Willingness to maintain current knowledge and skill related to the care and support of patients normally cared for on the assigned nursing unit.

Experience:
One year of more of acute care nursing experience within the previous three years

Education:
Nursing School Graduate

Licensure:
RN (Registered Nurse) - 1
