ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Performs patient assessments.
2. Analyzes patient data.
3. Identifies expected outcomes.
4. Develops plan of care.
5. Implements interventions.
6. Evaluates patient's progress.
7. Supervises designated health care team members.
8. Serves as Team Leader or Charge Nurse.
9. Maintains professional competence.
10. Appropriately evaluates developmental age of the patient when performing assessments, treatments and providing education for clients of various age groups.
11. Performs nursing practice in accordance with Professional Practice Model for Piedmont Medical Center.
12. Performs other essential department duties.

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate ! from an accredited school of nursing with current R.N. licensu! re in the state of Georgia. CPR certified. Surgical nursing experience desired. Able to work in a stressful environment. Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. Effective written and oral communication skills. Utilizes proper channels of communication. Recognizes importance of being a role model for peers and subordinates.
