Job Description:
Healthcare is a transforming industry due to legislative and regulatory demands, technology challenges, and societal trends. Our growing Health Industries Advisory practice provides management, technology and risk consulting services to help healthcare institutions around the world to anticipate and address their most complex business challenges. Our practitionars are supported by a dedicated health research unit, which is managed by a physician partner and provides our clients with cutting-edge intelligence, perspective, and analysis on issues transforming the health industry. Our professionals have deep health industry expertise and include physicians, nurses, system specialists, health policy analysts, actuaries, financial advisors, and data analysts. The Healthcare Advisory practice is aligned across: Healthcare Provider, Healthcare Payers, and Pharmaceutical and Life Science.
We pr! ovide Change and Program Management solutions encompass the following a! reas:
- Portfolio management ââ¬â Plan, measure, control and optimize the return to the business on the portfolio of investments at both an individual enterprise and aggregate level during the complete investment life-cycle
- Enterprise program management ââ¬â Achieve centralized and coordinated management of projects and activities in order to meet organizational strategic objectives
- Change Management - Assess change readiness among stakeholder groups and identify potential barriers/risks, plan implementation activities and design/deliver strategies to obtain awareness, buy-in and support for critical changes
- Organization design - Evaluate effectiveness of existing organizational structures, align organizational structure with client business strategy and objectives, manage performance by linking individual performance to business outcomes, and perform succession planning
- Training - Conduct training needs assessments, de! sign competency-based curriculums, assess organizational effectiveness and design blended learning strategies, including the integration and use of eLearning
Demonstrates extensive knowledge and understanding of developing and delivering client solutions in the areas of program and portfolio management, learning and organizational design with accountability for the selling and completion of these projects, preferably within the healthcare industry, specifically the following:
Business Development
- Significantly contributing to business development efforts (i.e. managing an account, drafting proposals, planning the approach and identifying resources to deliver an engagement)
- Developing and leveraging industry relationships and networking with clients and internal resources across multiple businesses
- Identifying and acting upon opportunities to expand a companyââ! ¬â¢s client base and the scope of work provided to clients
- D! eveloping practice marketing and thought leadership materials and delivering presentations, as required, to internal and external audiences regarding subject matter expertise and services
- Developing engagement strategies including scope, approach, resource requirements, timeline, risks and dependencies to address a variety of client business, IT and/or compliance issues
- Advising client on best course of action while considering cost, effort, risk and potential outcomes
- Facilitating agreements on approach, methodologies and tools to ensure alignment with client's business requirements
- Possessing industry-specific skills and expertise needed to satisfy engagement requirements
- Leveraging and tailoring tools and methodologies from previous engagements
! Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates extensive abilities with, and/or a proven record of success in, at least three of the following areas related to the leading and delivering of client solutions in the areas of project management, change management, development and delivery of learning programs, organizational design, and process improvement:
Development and Delivery
- Leading board and executive-level interactions;
- Delivering engagements on-time and on-budget, emphasizing manage economics that include establishing charge code structures, understanding implications of decisions on the Firm's Financial System structure and reporting; and, invoicing for services and collecting payments;
- Anticipating team needs and planning and communicating an approach for meeting those needs by coaching team resources and directly doing things for the team in a collaborative manner;
- Developing and managing a multi-work stream engagement, leveragi! ng constant client interaction to manage multiple resources and success! fully deliver engagement objectives.
- Overseeing the production and productivity of joint teams (internal business and client/contractor), optimizing workload balance and enforcing accountability
- Coaching, mentoring and developing junior staff
- Developing and administering training for program members (new program member, resource training and work stream-specific technical training) for internal staff, clients and other third party consultants
Min Degree(s) and Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in organizational development, human resource development, business or technology
