Job Summary:
Functions under the direction of the Executive Director of Medical Imaging Services for Kennestone Hospital. The Vascular Institute Manager supervises all V.I., Vascular OR, and Vascular Admit Recovery Staff to ensure that all procedures and cases are performed efficiently and appropriately in accordance with established policies and procedures. He/she is responsible for performing a wide variety of management responsibilities relative to scheduling, staff coverages, budget development and compliance, physician and patient satisfaction, strategic planning, marketing, performance improvement, clinical trials oversight, charge master and computerized inventory management activities. The Manager is able to perform job functions utilizing independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative, with ability to interact and direct su! ccessful operations within multidisciplinary specialty physician groups.
Required Minimum Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing, with current Georgia License, BSN.
Required Minimum Experience : Five (5) years interventional, OR, or cath lab experience, with a minimum of three (3) years of management experience.
Required Minimum Skills: The individual must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and display a positive attitude (see WellStar’s “Standards of Gold†and “Valuesâ€). Organizational skills that enable the individual to react and perform under stress and emergency situations and to manage two to three activities at one time on an on-going basis. Management skills to effectively lead employees in a task-oriented environment, time management skills to meet scheduled and non-scheduled operational deadlines, analytical skills to prepare and manage budget.
