We are currently seeking dedicated Stakeholders to help! us fulfill our Mission and provide the Mother Standard of Care® to patients in the Southeast.
OVERVIEW
Directs the care of the inpatient through the nursing process and through collaboration with the patient, their family and other health care professionals. Provides leadership to non-licensed staff by setting an example of excellence.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assesses the needs of the patient through a holistic approach on an ongoing basis. Provides information to physicians and other health care professionals of any changes in patient condition. Adjusts treatment based on multidisciplinary plan of care. Plans, delivers, directs, coordinates and evaluates therapeutic interventions based on needs identified in the assessment process. Documents interventions provided. Supervises care delivery by support staff. Provides patient/family education (in regards to disease process, side effects of treatment and health promotion) as well as support ! and reassurance, ensuring an informed decision is being made regarding the individual's therapeutic plan and documents according to department standard.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Current State Registered Nurse License required
Current BLS/ACLS required Oncology experience preferred
Recent ICU and/or OR experience preferred
