Description: Northside Hospital is at present looking to employ Financial Assistance Surgical Program (FASP) RN - Full-Time, 7a-3:30p right now, this career will be placed in Georgia. The FASP nurses are working with the breast imaging center and are the first contact after ! a women finds from her biopsy that she has cancer. .

This position is based in Alpharetta in the FASP program ( Financial Assistance Surgery Program). This RN coordinates care for patients referred from community care centers for surgery or procedures such as colonoscopy. It would bepreferred if the nurse spoke Spanish. The person needs to be have strong critical thinking abilities, work independently, and be able to work with multiple different departments/agencies. She/he will provide the prep instructions for surgery/colonoscopy, find a way to get the prep to the patients who can live anywhere from Newnan to Cumming, and be sure they understand their d/c instructions. This RN will work the FASP Coordinator.

The Oncology RN will be responsible for managing the patient care of assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of the Oncology Department. This RN coordinates care for patients referred from community care centers for ! surgery or procedures such as colonoscopy.

Either OP ! surgery or Oncology nurses preferred

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Demonstrated proficiency in skills applicable to designated area within probationary period.

Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Minimum of one (1) year Cardiac/Med/Surg experience.

Ability to speak Spanish preferred.

Must be able to pass an EKG test.

Must have critical thinking abilities, work independently, and be able to work with multiple different departments/agencies.
