Psychiatry - Nurse Practitioner

Description: PrimeHealth Staffing, LLC is at present looking to employ Psychiatry - Nurse Practitioner right now, this occupation will be placed in Georgia. More details about this occupation opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Psychiatry opening in Western Central, 1.5 hrs to At, Georgia. Nurse Practitioner with Psychiatry experience needed for either locum tenens or permanent position ! at 145-bed adult inpatient hospital that holds both voluntary and involuntary units. Provider will conduct physicals, provide treatment and counsel to patients, and prescribe medications. Will administer/order and interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, EKG, and lab tests.

Will develop treatment plans, and assess patients\\\' physical and mental conditions. Will compile patient medical data including health history to help with treatment planning. Provider must also be able to handle injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and infection management. Provider will visit and observe patients on rounds or house calls, update charts, order therapies, and report information to supervising physician.

Provider may also be asked to supervise support and lower level employees. For locum tenens position, client offers competitive rate plus mileage and possible other travel costs.
