Description: Golden LivingCenters is presently looking of Admission Director right now, this position will be placed in Georgia. Manage the facility's inquiry and admission process and provide customers with facility-related information via facility tours, personal visits/assessments, conversations, and follow-up. Coordinate and im! plement effective facility sales and marketing programs.Bachelor's Degree in Business/Communicates or related field to demonstrate requisite knowledge, skills and abilities consistent with the duties and responsibilities of this position.Two (2) years equivalent experience in a sales/marketing position or Director of Admissions position in lieu of degree.Previous health care community relations experience preferred.Community relations experience preferred.Effective presentation skills preferred.Strong organizational skills.Knowledge of, or ability to learn, reimbursement program from payor sources.Must have proven skills in working independently, self-motivated and goal directed.Formal sales training, adult training, and team building skills preferred.Understanding of advertising, collateral material design/layout/production preferred.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form.Ability to attend meetings, make presentations, and meet prospective resi! dents or facilities outside the facility.Ability to establish ! and maintain working relationships with multiple and varied people and organizations.Ability to be creative.Demonstrates self-confidence.Ability to work flexible hours, as admission responsibilities may dictate.Must have basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company software.Must be articulate and personable as well as be able to relate professionally and positively to residents, incoming visitors and associates at all levels.Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.Must meet all local health regulations, pass post-offer drug test, and pass post-employment physical exam, if required. This requirement includes criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.Must be capable of performing the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
