The Restorative Nursing Assistant is an experienced, certified nursing assistant who functions as both a role model and a resource person for the new nursing assistan! ts to create a supportive orientation period to restorative nursing care. The Restorative Coordinator is trained by the Staff Development Coordinator with the assistance of the therapy department. Assist in selection of restorative nursing assistants to provide restorative care to residents seven days a week, supervised by their assigned Charge Nurse and evaluated by both persons. The Restorative Coordinator will assist with the training of new restorative nursing assistants and other nursing assistants regarding restorative care. Restorative Coordinator will provide input to evaluations of other Restorative Nursing Assistants.*Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state with knowledge, experience, and commitment to providing restorative care to residents.*High school diploma or GED indicating that associate has demonstrated reading, writing, and math skills as well as an ability to consistently follow oral & written directions.*Must have basic com! puter knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company ! software to include CareTracker.*Must be articulate and personable as well as be able to relate professionally and positively to residents, incoming visitors and associates at all levels.*Must maintain regular and punctual attendance.*Must meet all local health regulations, pass post-offer drug test, and pass post-employment physical exam, if required. This requirement also includes criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.*Must be capable of performing the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations. *Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant with at least 1 year experience in restorative/rehab work.
