Description: Memorial University Medical Center is currently interviewing Physician Assistant - Specialty right now, this occupation will be placed in Georgia. Memorial University Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated mid-level provider to work in collaboration with trauma surgeons to provide preoperati! ve, intra-operative and postoperative care to patients with musculoskeletal injuries.

Responsibilities:
Assist in managing inpatient orthopedic trauma patients including daily rounds, inpatient consultation, and discharge planning. First assist on major orthopedic procedures with a focus on complex fracture reconstruction. Provide call support during day time hours for emergency room and trauma patients who will include the following procedures: reduction of fractures and dislocations, splint application, joint aspiration/injection and application of skeletal traction. Provide evening assistance with outpatient practice call. Additionally, mid-levels will provide support during weekly clinic with potential for independent clinic experience.

Requirements:
Candidate must have a strong work ethic with the ability to adapt to a variable work schedule. Candidates should be motivated to learn and can expect a congenial and stimulating work ! environment. Applicants must be graduates of an accredited phy! sician assistant or nurse practitioner program with eligibility for Georgia licensure.
