This Positon Reviews Physical Therapy documentation.
Provide feedback, education and training to the Physical Therapist and Program Manager in regard to documenting, so that the documentation accurately reflects the skills provided and the medical record meets guidelines for payment.
Write appeal letters for discipline specific denied claims.
Participate in Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) hearing.
O ther duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Minimum education would be a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (PT).
Graduated from an American accredited Physical Therapy program
Must have at least three (3) years of recent clinical practice in geriatrics.
Must have an active state license in Physical Therapy. License must be current and in good standing.

Must have solid and proven Physical Therapy evaluation an! d treatment skills for services provided in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Must have understanding of documentation requirements for all payer types for reimbursement in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
