The Emergency Department Nurse is responsible for the delivery of coordinated emergency nursing care and all related clinical activities for an assigned patient and or group of patients ra! nging from neonate to geriatric age groups. In accordance with national standards for nursing practice and within the guidelines and policies and procedures of both Emory Adventist Hospital and the Georgia State Board of Nursing.
The Emergency Department Nurse is responsible for the provision of consistent quality care through the utilization of the nursing process, established standards of care and protocols, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. He/she will be skilled in caring for patients throughout the continuum of emergency care including patient triage and assessment, treatment and interventions, medication administration, ongoing evaluation, diagnoses and admission, discharge, or transfer. *CB*
Qualifications
Current Georgia RN license. BSN preferred.
CPR, ACLS required. PALS within one year of hire. TNCC and ENPC desired. Strong computer skills and excellent customer service skills.
Available to work 11p to! 7a four nights per week
