Description: Melnic Consulting Group is presently looking of Pediatric Physician Assistant, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, CICU right now, this vacancy will be placed in Georgia. Cardiac Intensive Care Unit of this leading academic childre! nÂ's hospital serves
as a clinical specialist in the 27 bed unit that cares for critically ill
pediatric patients with congenital and acquired heart disease. Providing comprehensive care and follow-up to
patients aged 0-18, the PA in the CICU evaluates patient histories and
physicals, and develops and implements patient plans of care, including medical
and pharmacological management, as needed.
They initiate referrals and follow-up on consults to other providers,
and they are a resource for age-appropriate and effective patient, family and
staff education. The PA in the CICU evaluates patient outcomes to identify
opportunities for improvement in the unit, and participates in research with
the goal of incorporating their findings into practice.
This is a full-time day/night rotation position.

The CICU provides ECMO, LVAD and
Berlin Heart assistance, and their award-winning CICU team has just been

the American Association of Critical-care Nurses to those who exemplify
staff-driven excellence in professional practice, patient care and
outcomes. This leading academic 500 bed
childrenÂ's hospital provides world-class care in over 60 pediatric specialties,

2013 and #6 in U.S. News & World ReportÂ's Â"Best ChildrenÂ's HospitalsÂ" for
2012-13. They perform nearly 850 heart

Qualifications:
MasterÂ's degree in Medical Science from an accredited
PA program, required; current NCCPA and PA licensure by the State of Georgia,
required; NCCPA certification, required; BLS and PALS certifications, required
within 6 months of employment; acute care experience, preferred.
