Busy Urgent Care Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse with at least two years of experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine. The ideal candidate is efficient, has a positive attitude and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: taking patient histories, vital signs, rapid laboratory testing, lab requisitions, venipuncture, IM and SQ injections, EKG’s, DOT and non-DOT drug testing, patient call backs, set up and assisting with sterile procedures, patient education, stocking rooms, and directing patient flow to ensure efficiency. Qualified candidates have excellent communication skills as well as clinical skills. Dependability and professionalism are extremely important.
Candidates should be certified/licensed or eligible for certification/licensure. Routine background checks are performed on all applicants at the time of hire. Some evening, weekend and limited holiday availability is a must.
