Under general supervision, plans and conducts service or nutritional programs to assist in the promotion of family health and control of obesity. Provides health education, nutritional assessment, as well as education and counseling to individuals, groups, or the public. Serves as a resource for referral to family planning and immunization, as well as weight control for patients, public health nurses, health educators, or other health care providers in the facility. Travel required.
