MANAGER OF PATIENT ACCESS SERVICES

Location: Valdosta Georgia

Description: South Georgia Medical Center is hiring MANAGER OF PATIENT ACCESS SERVICES right now, this job will be placed in Georgia. Detailed specification about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Responsible for the management of Patient Access Services for the following business units:
Emergency Care, Outpatient Services, Admissions, Youth Care, Pre-Admissions! and Centralized Scheduling. Responsibilities include patient registrations, insurance verification, pre-certification, point of service coding, patient scheduling, and data entry.
These responsibilities include the monitoring and development of policy and procedures, information systems, personnel training (enterprise wide), and the attainment of departmental goals.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
An undergraduate degree in Business, Management, Finance or Nursing is required.
Must have at least four years of progressive related experience in Patient Access management to include a working knowledge of pertinent laws and regulatory requirements.
Individual will possess an extensive background in personal computer applications.
