Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

Supervise nursing students in the hospital setting.

Key Qualifications

Minimum of a baccalaureate in Nursing, but a master’s degree is preferred. Clinical experience needed varies by course, but applicant must have at least two years of experience in the required area.

Key Responsibilities

Would be responsible for the daily supervision and guidance of 6-8 nursing students in the hospital setting. Would be responsible for checking students off on required skills, grading paperwork, and evaluating performance. Occasional attendance at course coordinating meetings may be required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Majority of experience needed is in medical-surgical nursing, but particularly looking for maternity and pediatric experience. Mental health nursing experience could also be needed.
