Serves as a Lead Nurse, assuming responsibility for the organization and operation of Vascular Interventional Radiology nursing staff as well as well as Radiology nursing staff. Provides quality care that is caring, efficient, effective and evidence-based. Health promotion, health maintenance, health education, continuity of care, and care coordination are utilized in a holistic approach in the management of the healthcare of patients. The Lead RN is specifically accountable for organization, direction, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care as it relates to professional radiology nursing standards and the MCCG nursing plan for the provision of care. Provides RN leadership to ensure shift runs efficiently and effectively. Ensures compliance of quality patient care, including patient.. Works closely with VIR Manager for guidance on operations and staffing as well as budget compliance.
Educ! ation: BSN preferred.
Experience : Two yea! rs nursing experience with progressive management responsibilities, preferred
Certification/License/Registration : Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of Georgia. Certification in Medical/Surgical Nursing or Ambulatory Nursing preferred.
