Job Title Physician Extender - PRN Job Requisition ID 31167BR Division School Of Medicine Department 731000:SOM: Emergency Medicine Full/Part Time Part-Time Regular/Temporary Temporary Minimum Hourly $ 34.183 Midpoint Hourly $ 47.404 Minimum Annual $ 71100 Midpoint Annual $ 98600 Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides health care services to patients under the direction and responsibility of a physician. May assist in performing the physical examination of patients or research participants. Compiles patient medical data including health histories and the results of physical examinations. May administer or order diagnostic tests and may assist in interpreting test results. May perform therapeutic procedures. Develops and implements patient management plans, thoroughly documents observations, and records progress notes. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or Physician's Assistant training program. Current licensure as a physician's assistant in the state of Georgia. OR Licensed to practice as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia and certified as a Nurse Practitioner. Preferred Qualifications PA/NP who has at least 1 year of experience Additional Job Details PRN positions are primarily nights and weekend. This position involves: Not Applicable
